| About Baby and Beach Equipment Rentals Baby and Beach Equipment Rentals is a mom owned and operated business, established in the summer of 2003 in Wilmington, NC. This idea of a business catering to babies and toddlers at the beach all started while traveling with my 19 & 4 month old babies during the holidays. I was unable to fit all of our baby essentials in the car. Needless to say, we only lasted 3 days away from home! Living in a resort town, I thought that there must be other parents traveling to the beach with their kids in very similar and frustrating situations. I wondered why there wasn’t a service to provide parents with the convenience of renting baby essentials. I saw a need and this is how it all began. Shortly thereafter, I started the business in my home providing vacationing parents with JPMA certified equipment. Finally, a business catering to babies, toddlers and YOU the parents.
